TELEROM PROIECT has a Metallic Construction Department with specialists in the construction field.
Their professional skill has enabled them to perform works having high complexity levels required by the specific technology, without the involvement or assistance of some other specialized design companies.
The engineering design works carried out during the course of time refer to metallic structures of various types and sizes used as supports for any type of antennas or radiating systems, as follows:
- metallic triangular or square towers higher than 200 m (made up of pipes or angles)
- guyed masts, including masts for broadcasting, higher than 250 m
- antennas of any type and size for all frequency bands
- radiating systems of various types and constructive shapes, electrical and mechanical calculus, also including for fields of log-periodic and equal-phase antennas in short wave band
- feeder routes
- metallic towers equipped with elevators for people and material transport
- reinforced concrete resistance structures for telecommunications constructions, including reinforced concrete towers with heights more than 100 m, with rooms for equipment at the top.

Among the most important works performed by our company in this field we can mention:
- Metallic towers and feeder routes for radio broadcasting station Tiganesti
- Metallic tower of 200 m for Ministry of Internal Affairs – Ciurel area
- Masts of 200 – 250 m high for radio and TV broadcasting, erected in many stations throughout the country
- Metallic tower for TV broadcasting station – Costila (2450 m altitude)
- Technical assistance for installing antennas of f 32 m at Ground Station - Cheia
- Towers for GSM radiating systems and for parabolic antennas of microwave networks belonging to the GSM mobile operators in Romania
- Towers with heights 50-70 m for SCADA communications system infrastructure of ROMGAZ – the Romanian gas operator
- Towers for radars of ROMATSA (Romanian Aerial Services Traffic Administration)
- All the towers for small and high capacity microwave networks installed in Romania before 1990 (more than 200 towers of various heights, i.e. from 20 m up to 150 m)
- Reinforced concrete tower – h = 145 m, with an additional metallic structure of 70 m height for television and microwave – Eforie (Constanta)
- Reinforced concrete towers for microwaves erected in Bacau and Galati, height more than 150 m
- Towers for microwave networks in Iraq and Kuwait
