Geographic Information System (GIS)
By its department “ INTERGRAPH SOLUTION CENTER ” Telerom Proiect have specialized in mapping transport and distribution networks by using Geographic Information System (GIS) and Management Information Systems technologies on Windows NT Platform with Intergraph, Bentley, Autodesk, ESRI products, offering possibilities to consult and analyze data in Intranet/Internet environment.
The projects started, by using this technology refer to:
- Digital terrain model at 1:100000 scale, with applications developed for telecommunications (radiocommunications). Being an open system it has generalizing facilities to permit its use for any type of transport and distribution networks based on geographically related information at the country level.
- Digital terrain model at 1:300.000 with data on roads, localities, hydrography, administrative county boundaries.
- Digital terrain model of Bucuresti, Timisoara , Pitesti , Iasi (scale 1:1000; 1:2000 or 1:5000) containing in layers multiple information (avenues, postal codes, hydrography, parks, forests, etc).
Depending on clients' demand the activity can be extended for all localities and for any type of application using geographically referenced data.
